Different Mfg's for Wheel Bearings and Seals

I am changing my Lippert Wheel Bearings for Timkens. The local dealer does not have a Timken Grease Seal, nor can he figure out the conversion number. He says that there is no issue with using a Lippert Grease Seal with Timken Bearings. I tend to agree with him but want to ask the experts.

Axle is 3500 Lb.

Same number for Timken and Lippert Bearings

Rear Bearing: L68149
Front Bearing: L44649

Lippert Grease Seal:
GS17190L or 17190L

10-19 is the Dexter number. Will cross with most companies. What I have been using for years.

There are a ton of different seal manufacturers- national, federal mogul, etc etc. the reality is that a larger company like national probably makes them for lippert and dexter anyway.

Certainly no issue with combining parts.
