dinette under seat storage ?

Instead of dealing with cushions, etc. to get at under seat area - why not cut a hatch on the stove side. Then put in a wire/plastic container and glue a false door front on it?

I don't actually know how to do this, so if someone has.....would like a tip.

On my 28BHS there are cabinet doors on the under dinette seat storage so you can access it without lifting up the cushions and plywood. Of course reaching all the way to the back is not easy from these doors. Is this similar to what you are suggesting?

We've got full length drawers under our dinette benches. They work great.

Thanks All, we have a 22 foot 6 inch featherlight. I thought a roll out or pull pot plastic box might work to get at the stuff in the back.

Crabman...was your access a factory thing or your mod?

I also have storage under both dinette seats that is accessed by doors. What I did was purchase some plastic baskets at Wal-Mart to fit the door opening and tied them together with wire ties, three on each side. I just pull them out all together and slide them back.
