Disabling outside speakers tempoarily
Hello all! I am the brand new owner of a Jay Flight SLX 145RB!! Super yay cuz it's taken me two years of research to finally decide what I want and need! First time RVer!
I have this parked in the RV space in between my home and my neighbor's. I just noticed that when I turn on my stereo it automatically plays on the outside speakers. Is there some way to bypass this so that it plays only inside? I don't want to permanently disable it.
Thanks all!

Most stereo's have buttons that enable you to turn on/off your indoor and outdoor speakers (ie: Speaker A, Speaker B or Speaker A&B).

should be just like your car stereo use the balance and fade control to move the sound.
depends how it is wired as to weather your outside speakers are your left or right front or rear

and on my Jenson radio - not sure about others - there are three speaker buttons: front, rear, outside. You can turn off the outside speakers by pressing that button. HOWEVER, the buttons re-set to all be on when the battery power is turned off to the radio (with a trailer master switch, or removing the fuse at the battery). So each time you power up your trailer, you have to remember to set your speaker switches as you want to, or the next door neighbors may be treated to the audio of whatever TV or music you are listening to. I find exposing my neighbors to my amplified sound to be embarrassing. To prevent this possibility, I disconnected my outside speakers at the radio.

This is great! I bombed out finding the A/B/A&B speaker adjustment. Apparently this is a very basic stereo but there is definitely a fade and I will play with that tomorrow!

Mine has a slider switch on the faceplate... if all else fails read the owners manual...
