Sounds like you need a Jeep then Just kidding, sorry I couldn’t resist.

I have been using this mount I made to haul kayaks on out motorhomes over the years. Works great if you don’t need the hitch and have the height.

I carry a 14ft Porta-Bote on our Ram with a 5th wheel. I bought a cheap $99 or so ladder rack and only installed the one in the front of the bed. I then installed a front trailer hitch. I bought a cheap hitch extender from Harbor Freight and installed it in the front hitch. Then I built a 2x4 rack to connect to the front ladder rack and the front 'T.' It works well.

We can carry between 2 and 4 inside the MH and unload them when at the campsite.
