dometic white awning portion turning pink !

Do you know what can cause the white portion of the awning to turn pink near the edge and or seams ? Also the brown color if fading a bit at the edge of the flap at the end of the awning ! I am within the 2 years warranty so any idea if some had their awning replaced under warranty ?

Yes. Pink Stain is a by-product, dye, of a specific type of bacterial micro-organism. This dye is soluble in plasticizer, a primary ingredient in vinyl coated fabrics, and will stain any vinyl coated fabric with which it comes in contact.

I had mine replaced under warranty, but it was because of a pull
(defect) in the fabric that I noticed and reported just days after getting the trailer.

I'm not sure what they'd say about fading/mold. Let us know what they say if you decide to pursue it.

Try a bleach cleaner. 409 makes a cleaner with bleach that I use on my awning. I spray my awning down with water then the 409. Roll it up and let it sit about 10 minutes then unroll it and spray it off. You can use a stiff plastic bristle brush to scrub stubborn areas.
