I took screen door off the bottom hinge on the outer door had a "gate/flange " that was stuck. ,,could barely move it with vice grips,, went to walmart got a cut off tool. Cut the flange off. Door works fine,,,ordered new hinge on amazon. Thanks everyone

While we have a Seneca... we have door issues - and I don't blame Jayco.

first of... we can have the motorhome facing so that the morning Arizona sun will beat down on the passenger side with the door... and the side heats up and expands so much that the opening for the door is 1/4 smaller than the door is - just because the wall has expended from the heat. We have to put the awning out to provide shade to let the walls cool just to close the friggin door so that it will latch.

Other times we find that if the jacks went down goofy... and the frame is a little bit twisted, the door latch does not line up with the locking hardware on the door. I keep a Phillips screwdriver handy next to the door, and adjust the strike plate so that the door opens/closes without binding. This is a two-minute task as part of setup - and then I have to do it again once we are prepping for road travel when we are off of the jacks.

We call it part of RV life... it has been the same in our previous two motorhomes and our previous trailer too.
