Door Damage
We had some very strong winds here overnight and this morning. Trailer was shaking all night from the wind (no drafts inside though, so happy with that). I went to step outside though this morning and the wind grabbed the door and ripped it out of my hands almost pulling me out the trailer with it. It hit the bump stop and made a small hole in the fiberglass.
I was thinking I could rivet a small square of aluminium or stainless steel over the area including where the door holder is and then rivet the door hold back in it's previous location. It would protect the door from future damage and look like it was made that way. Would there be any reason this wouldn't work? Or is there an easier way to fix this while still making the color match?
