Drilling side of 3 CU Ft. fridge

I want to install a fridge fan in my 3 cubic foot fridge. It does not have a drain so the only way to install a fan is to drill through the side into the next compartment. I tried calling the manufacturer and they would not help. I expect the control wiring goes over the top of the fridge to the front controls. I don't believe there any wires of piping in the sides.

Does anyone have experience pulling a 12 volt wire into the insides of the basic 120 volt / LP fridge. Same one as in all small SLX refrigerators.

I have a battery operated fan that runs on 2 D cells. It just does not move enough air over the fins to keep all of the food cold. The food near the fins freezes and the stuff in the doors is kept at unsafe temps.

I want to install one of these: Deluxe RV Refrigerator Evaporator Fan w/Grill

Search for the Service Manual on line and that will show you where things are. Every RV fridge I have seen only has wires and tubing in the back.

I'm not farmilar with the 3 cu frig. Does your frig have a light.

Drilling could be risky pending on how the ammonia lines run.

The entire assembly is on the back of the fridge. Here is a link to the entire cooling unit for a NORCOLD.
