Driver side slide scraped new Jayco

Hey all. Newbie here and posted on welcome mat yesterday. Discovered these scrapes on on lower sidewall and lower slide only after doing another walk around at KOA yesterday evening. Wife and I did not see this at PDI. After PDI our service manager closed both slides, shut everything off, locked camper and handed us the keys. We drove camper home, packed up some supplies and never opened slides till arriving at KOA Sunday? Seems to me slide was in too tight and rubbed against camper after we drove for awhile? Can slides be in to tight? We are leaving a long trip the 10th. Really did not to bring it back to dealer right away. Thought we could call service manager and emails pictures to document this and bring camper in when we get back. These little gouge scrapes are bout 1/8 to a 1/4 inch long and finger nail deep. Also seal is scraped at lower corner. No other signs of scratches on rest of slide or camper.

Call Service Manger first. Explain problem. Have pictures ready to e-mail to him. You will get your best answers during that phone call.

Did you have the unit level before you extended the slides at the KOA?

I am sure that will be the first or one of the first questions the service manger will ask you

Pics are not straight but to me looks like rubbing scrapes to even on seal gasket? Again I only opened the slide at park for first time since taking delivery.

Looks like the slider needs adjusting, but I'm guessing I haven't worked on slider. They should be able to fix you up under warranty. Relax and enjoy camp. Try to get it totally level.

Update on slide

Talked with our service manager who did the PDI with us on the phone after emailing pictures to him and he wants me to bring it back right away. Told I would bring it back tomorrow afternoon. Based on pics he thinks slide needs adjusting and new seals may need to order too. He said should be done by the 11 Thanksfor all the help.
