Driving in winter with full fresh water tanks?
We are getting ready to leave the frozen tundra of Michigan and head to Disney World with our new TT with thermal package. When we travel in the winter we always run the furnace to make pit stops more comfortable and we often stay in our camper when stopping for the night.
Our old camper did not have thermal package so we always left winterized and used a little RV antifreeze to flush the commode.
Does anyone travel with full fresh water in freezing conditions? I would not mind having water if it is safe. I know the low point drains stick out below the underbelly I am a little concerned with those freezing/breaking. I don't know if the outdoor kitchen will stay warm enough either?
It is projected to be 8 degrees upon departure.
Any experience/advise would be appreciated! Thanks!
