If you don't have solar yet, could you charge your camper batteries off your tow vehicle? I have a truck with the RV plug and 12v going to the trailer, or maybe with a pair of jumper cables.... I'm just curious why that wasn't mentioned as a way to keep batteries up.

We used a Honda 1000 and had to charge batteries every day!Switched to Solar a couple years ago.Those batteries issue are gone love it!
