eagle 2020 eagle 330rsts-satellite splitters

Trying to set my Winegard X2 dish but not getting power to it,so I assume it has the wrong splitters (non power)-I cannot find the splitters for the life of me and Jayco won't send a schematic. Has anyone replaced their splitters and where were they located. Trying not to have to drill holes in the trailer to set up my dish. Did I miss something or am I on the right track?

The splitters that JAYCO uses are only good for TV they will not work with SAT. Satellite systems use multi switches so yes you need to replace them or rewire.

Djensen,
I have a 2020 34rsbs and Winegard G3. I had to disconnect the bottom of the short coaxial loop, connect my amplifier there, G3 to coaxial connection on outside of RV. Not sure you have the same set up but that’s how I achieved Sat reception in my RV. Hope this was of help.
Stay Safe.

I had 3 Jaycos and all 3 of them would not work with our Winegard Pathfinder. What I did was drilled a hole and ran a coax from the hole to where the receiver is. I was not about to take the trailer apart to find all of the splitters. much easier to do it the way I did.

Thanks for the info, this is what i am trying to avoid at this time but might have to do this if i cannot find the splitters to replace.

I had fought this for a couple of years so I call the Winegard CS and they told me that it doesn't like the splitters so when I took my 5th wheel in for warranty work and told the Jayco dealer what was going on and they are supposed to be looking at that.

What I was going to do it to take the coax cable that is behind the main tv, take the sat cable off of the splitter behind the tv and just use hook it up for my receiver. We will see after I get it back, I'm like you I don't want to drill a extra hole in the side of my 5th wheel.

The tv in the bedroom work good.

djensen9367 I have a 2017 330 RSTS and there are direct satellite connects. There are two satellite connections and one cable connection. They are located where the water, shower and black tank flush system. Check your owners manual for more info.

I have the same thing but they do not supply power to the portable dish (i had it hooked up), I even took off the cover in the storage area but no splitters visible there.

Are you on Direct or Dish. If you are on Direct, you will need to supply 12v to the antenna. Dish supplies 12v to there dish. How long is the coax run to the antenna. Dish has a fifty feet limit.

I bought a crimping tool already and will double check everything when I start taking it apart again, waiting to get the cable chaser before I get to deep into this, it helps take some of the guesswork out of the process, but very frustrating when they mark something satellite and it doesn't work but seems to be a problem with all brands, I guess they save a buck or two buying non passthru splitters

Is you antenna a Winegard Pathway X2? If so, it is only compatible with Dish.

I have a 2020 330RSTS as well, satellite works in the bedroom, not in the living area. Was a solution found or where the splitters are located?

I added a power splitter behind the living room TV, which let the sat connection to power the dish

Sat. cable

I thought the cable marked "SAT" was a direct cable to the exterior attachment point. Maybe I've got the wrong idea. My 2019 came with a digital cable plugged into the TV and runs up the wall to a shelf where the receiver would go. That seemed rather odd, but so are most items lately.

I'm going to add Dish Network at some point, but, want to keep park cable and OTA antenna functional also.

Not following that, there appears to be a single orange Satellite cable coming up through the bottom of the slide and to the wall plate behind the living room TV. Does not appear to be any splitters or a cable to split?

There is a single cable from the docking station, and a single cable to each wall plate in the bedroom and living room. It has to be split somewhere?

pull the "power" switch in the cabinet, when it is out you will see more than one cable (including the orange sat cable, put the sat cable on the power side of the splitter and the other cable on the in side of the splitter, run the out to the power switch-i am not going to take it apart again but that is where u put the power splitter in the wall
