Eagle HT Bathroom Vent Fan Replacement Question

I have a 2018 Eagle HT 324BHTS. The stock bathroom vent fan is junk. Want to take the easy replacement route and install a Vortex 2 fan rather than a Fantastic fan. My question is, on my stock fan, there is no typical vent lid cover, but rather a goofy style cover that has vents that open and close on the sides. Will this lid cover work with the vortex 2 fan, or will I have to replace the vent lid cover as well? If I do have to replace the vent cover, how much work is that? I just want to avoid removing the entire unit like I would have to do to install the Fantastic Fan.

I changed mine out for a fantastic fan. Maybe took an hour at the most. Pretty easy conversion.

Anybody? Someone with a 2018 Jayco Eagle HT had to change out this junk bath fan. Not looking to go the Fantastic Fan route, don't feel like changing out the entire unit. Will the Vortex 2 work with this stock vent cover or can the cover also be easily changed if necessary to work with the Vortex 2 fan?

I still have the stock fan. I'd like to replace it with the Maxxair Maxfan Deluxe but that is a more extensive install. The stock fan doesn't bother us, maybe a little noisy but still quieter than my kids.

Incredible there still installing that junk! We had that in are 16 Eagle dealer replaced with old style fan which worked fine under warranty. And we added a Max Air 2 cover no problems! If under warranty have dealer replace with what you want. Thanks
