Eagle HT tongue tray

Just ordered a Eagle HT 274CKDS and was wondering what people were using this space for. Let me here your Ideas, I would like to utilize this space without it looking cluttered.

That might be a good spot for a generator.

I just picked up my 2021 Eagle HT 272RBOK. The dealer installed my two batteries in the tray. So far I haven't put anything in there but might carry a few wood blocks to put under the tongue jacks. The shop guy at the dealership suggested putting a lockable box in that tray and keep the batteries safe from thieves.

I have a 2020 272RBOK with the same front deck. I installed a lockable box that I store wood blocks and wheel chocks in. It's a clean look. Sorry about the pollen on everything.

Nice! That box fits perfectly. How does your 2020 272RBOK lower the electric stabilizer jacks? Mine are operated from the panel inside the coach which is very awkward because I can't watch the jacks go down. I wish I had a remote to operate the jacks.

I just took delivery of my 2021 274CKDS and I will use the front area for leveling blocks and chocks as well as my 2200w generator (when needed). Gtoglenn--my trailer came with a wireless control for the stabilizer jacks, its mounted in the storage area to the left of the docking station. It is powered by a 2032 coin-type battery.

CTGT--Thank you for the reply about my stabilizer jack operation! I will look in the storage compartment, hopefully the remote is there.

Thank you for the info on the storage box. I wish my trailer had the manual switches near the jacks. --Glenn

Thanks for the responses!! I am going to use the storage box from stratos19 and the dual battery boxes from Spower. One battery box will be for extra storage also. This will achieve the clean look I want.

So far I am keeping my sewer hose up there with bungee cords securing it. Kind of sad there is no bumper tube or other dedicated sewer hose location on my 272RBOK.

You should be able to operate the jacks from the Jaycomand mobile app.

We have a 2021 330rsts and my Champion dual fuel generator fits nicely up there. I bought a muffle port extension that I plan to port through a drilled hole in the bottom of the tray and out for heat and exhaust removal. Also on the interior side wall I mounted some sheet metal cut to fit as additional heat shield. Ran it a few times last season with no issues.
