That would be sweet! We have the electric flat pitch awning and we don't really care for it.

When we were at the beach for Spring Break there were several Electric awnings that were tied down with straps and springs just like i used on my manual awning and worked just fine and the wind always blows at the Oregon Coast. Didnt have my straps with me so I didnt try my awning but will take my straps next time.
