Question Electric Stabilizer Jacks - Is this normal?

When I lower the jacks, the motor turns, but they don't go down on their own until I pull them down with my hand. Seems to me like something is broken or loose, but I can't see there's a problem other than that?

The motor turns a jackscrew (a long threaded rod) that either raises or lowers the stabilizer arms. On my 27DSRL the factory had tighten the nuts and bolts on the stabilizers a little too much causing it to bind. A little loosening of the bolts and everything works smooth.

I'll have to get under there and look at things more closely next time we're out.

Fortunately it's in the category of annoyance rather than crisis...

I wish I could park this think next to my house permanently, just took it back to storage yesterday after installing the Fantastic fan in the bathroom. And while I wouldn't say its "fantastic", it is most definitely an improvement over the stock fan.
