My recommendation would be a Barker VIP 3500, made in USA with a reputation for very good customer service. Our forum sponsor sells them. Link:

Does the Barker have an extendable foot or is it fixed? Lots of great things about the Barker. I have my eye on a Bulldog 4000lb right now.

I have the Barker and have not had any problems with it. Easy to install and use.

I guess I would describe it as fixed. It doesn't drop/flip down if that's what you mean.

That's what i mean, I currently max the stroke of my jack now to get it off my truck. i need either longer stroke or extendable foot. I always bring blocks for the tongue.

I am pretty sure they come in two lengths... 18" and 24". Don't hold me to that but you can research Barker and confirm. I have the 18" and I just have a couple of blocks in case I need them.

Finally saved up for a Jack what a back saver - I opted for the 24" model and am very glad 2 reasons first is the obvious extra lift height especially helpful when installing weight bars and second is the larger lift model is based on a larger diameter post - bigger is always better. There is plenty of ground clearence with this model as the extra height is above the trailer toungue, this new jack is about 6" or so more ground clearence from the maual jack. Great service at Tweety's - also nice to have a Made in USA product.
