electrical issue

Before towing my TT in for service, I thought I would post my issue and see what can be done. My problem is my bathroom lights and fan are not working. I tested the fuse and it is fine. We did have a power outage at park this past weekend, but the surge protector seemed to do its job. Anyone have any ideas they could share?

Is there more than 1 switch? My 19RD has a wall switch for the bathroom light and the fixture has it's own switch. Both must be on for it to work.


Also check the fuse holder. I've had them go bad in the past.

They are possibly on the GFI circuit. Make sure the switch on the wall plate test/reset is in the proper position.

Looks like the OP's TT is a Whitehawk 29reks...I believe the bath fan and light is 12V so they would not be on a GFCI.

After seeing the mess behind my distribution panel, I'd be half tempted to pull it and ensure the feed wire for that circuit is secured to the terminal.

Since your problem is fixed, I'll say that I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why our bathroom light wouldn't go on. Finally realized a guest had turned it off at the light switch instead of the wall switch!
