We are not getting power, one of our main 30 amp fuses blew last year and mangled (burnt/melted) the plug in for the fuse. I'm pretty sure it was due to a chewed wire from a mouse.

Any ways, can i replace the just fuse panel or do I need to replace the entire "converter" unit itself?

If I can replace just the fuse panel (yellow box) can I use an aftermarket one of do i need to find the exact panel?

Same for the entire converter unit, can I use an aftermarket?

Can you wire around the old fuse and use a new fuse holder? You have to pull it out either way.

Yikes, not sure I have the skill set or know how to do that... good idea though if that is a viable option.

As an electronic tech I may look at it from a different perspective. I would see if it could be repaired rather than replaced.

You burnt up one fuse connector so why not try to get a replacement fuse holder that could be soldered in. A blade type circuit mount fuse holder may fit the bill. You would need to measure the board/blade spacing and get one that fits. Or like previously mentioned, an inline fuse holder soldered to the board could work.

Look at all the wire connections that would have to be transferred to a new unit. This could open up a can of worms and would take a lot of work.

I did a quick google search and found a few replacement DC panels. None looked like yours. I googled "rv power converter 60 amp replacement fuse board". If you know the make and model you should be able to narrow in quickly on the part. I suspect you can replace it.

If it is just melted (hard to tell what damage there might be from this image). With all power disconnected, you might be able to clean the contactors.

Is it the main power feed to/from the battery? If so, have you verified the inline fuse at the battery is not blown too?
