Elite Package - Digital Touch Screen Remote
Our 26BH is due to be delivered in a couple of weeks. We ordered it with the electric stabilizer jacks and the elite package which includes the digital touch screen remote. We didn't go over this particular feature in any great detail while looking for a new TT, we just knew that we wanted the Elite package for all of its upgrades.
I have not been able to dig up too much info on this remote and it full capabilities for the Jay Flights. To my understanding, it does the awning and some lighting.
So my questions are:
• Will this remote also control the electric stabilizer jacks?
• What else does it control?
• Has anyone had any issues with it?
• Is there any web links that discusses it in any detail?
As always, Thank You in advance for any feedback!!

I am not sure what it does on the Jayco's, but one of our camper friends has this in his Heartland TT. It runs the outside lights, stabilizer jacks and all the slides. It is kind of cool to watch him set up with the remote. He stands outside and watches each slide move out into position. Oh, I believe it runs his outside radio also.

We picked up our 2016 26BH Elite just after Labour Day, but we did not get the electric stabilizers so not sure how the remote works for those.
For us, the remote operates the awning (open, close), and we can control the LED awning lights with it (on, off). You can set a lockout code in case you don't want the kids playing with it. We let our seven year old son do the awning with it (under supervision). I usually use the control panel and not the remote for the awning and lights.

I don't have that option, but I got the same trailer..
Only thing I can see it being good for on a basic trailer is, stabilizers, lights, awning, and maybe radio control..
Turn it on and find out..

On my Eagle, it controls the slides, awning, outside lights, and electric stabilizer jacks. Not the radio.
My only recommendation is do not use it on a Schwintek slide, since they are so finicky. Walking around the outside using it for my non-Schwintek slides, I have had it cut out intermittently at times.

We just purchased our 2016 Jay Flight 28BHBE from dealer stock, and we have the Elite package with the remote. It operates the slide, awning and outside LED lights (no electronic stabilizer jacks). Our dealer contacted us about 2 weeks ago stating there was a recall with the remote operating the slide. I was told it as fine to operate it via the inside slide button, but not the remote. I may be a good idea to keep that in mind and even check with your dealer to see if there is the same recall.
Happy Camping!!!

Recall has something to do with installing a 20 amp fuse/breaker off of the control panel?

Our 15 eagle is a different remote, it does front and rear stabilizers, awning, awning light and 3 slides.

Ditto on all accounts, except the dealer has not notified us of a recall.

I have only used my 2016 27 RLS once, but I found the remote to be more useful on the power stabilizers than the other things it controls.

Can someone tell me if the remote is 'one touch' to open and close the awning? Or do you have to hold press the button for the duration of opening/closing the awning?
Same question for the awning wall switch

It is press and hold (on both).

Its good for letting out slide and you are close to tree or some obstruction as you stand right next to the slide and monitor it.

Remote
Just picked up our Jay Flight 27RLS yesterday. The remote is great. It opens the awning, turns on the lights, and puts out the slide

I love the remote too! At the last park, I knew I was gonna be close to a pole (Pole's and I don't get along when it involves the new RV), so I put that slide out with the remote and watched to make sure I wasn't going to hit it.

I wish I had a remote for the slide! Almost all our camp sites have trees and I'm always trying to get as close as possible, that would be great to stand out and watch.

Can anyone tell me how to set the stupid thing up? There is no info I can find on it in the paperwork that came with the trailer. It wants a code and I have no idea what that is. Thanks!
