Elite Package without 80 gallon fresh tank?

I have not heard of an Elite Package that did not include the 80 gallon fresh water tanks. I had a response to a thread where the poster said not all 34RSBS units with Elite Packages had 80 gallon water tanks, and referenced something about a Baja model.

I believe all Elite Packages have the 80 gallons of fresh water. It's one of the central features of that package.

Anyone else heard about this?

It's a big deal as we dry camp a lot.

Thanks!!

Ok I may need more info after saying that we didnt have a second freshwater tank in our34 rsbs (because we only have one freshwater readout and one fill valve. I just read a post where someone asked how to sanitize the second freshwater tank. The response was from jayco saying the tanks were connected by a hose and when you filled one they evened out and you filled both of them. So is it possible there would only be one readout and one fill valve? The ironic part is that there is a readout for grey water tank one and grey water tank 2 and the 2nd grey water tank is inaccessible (only for optional washer dryer)

Thanks, yes we currently have a TT with the Elite Package the it is 2 x 40 gallon tanks connected with a hose or something inside to make 1 big 80 gal capacity. There is only one inlet on the outside.

we finally had a chance to go dry camping with our 34rsbs, only the second time we have been out with it, yes we have the 2 40 gallon freshwater tanks, and used the valve solution to access the second 40 gallon gray water tank worked out perfectly

Good for you! We can't wait.

What's the "Valve option" for the second grey tank? Sounds useful.

I know what the 2nd grey tank is (washer).

Yours came set up that way from Jayco? Or did you make a modification to use both grey tanks?

My understanding is the 2nd grey tank just sits there waiting for you to hook up a washer if you want to. If you don't use a washer it doesn't get used.

Some people do something to make that 2nd tank available for general grey tank use. This is what I'm referring to.

What is it people are doing?

Thanks!

Yes, I believe all three tanks (black, gray1, gray2) are routed to the same outlet.

What folks are doing is capping the final outlet, but opening the valves to gray 1 and gray2. This let's the tanks equalize and work as one tank.

But my question is this: how do these folks hook the hose to the system without getting 2 gallons of gray water shot at them? Because sure you can shut the valves to the tanks, but the Y-pipe is down stream of the blade valves, and would be wet.

Yes, I believe all three tanks (black, gray1, gray2) are routed to the same outlet. You mean the big dump hose outlet?

What folks are doing is capping the final outlet, but opening the valves to gray 1 and gray2. This let's the tanks equalize and work as one tank.
You mean the pull lever valves? So the dump hose cap is on but both grey tank levers are pulled? In my experience that cap is not 100% water tight sealed.

But my question is this: how do these folks hook the hose to the system without getting 2 gallons of gray water shot at them? Because sure you can shut the valves to the tanks, but the Y-pipe is down stream of the blade valves, and would be wet. Good question then.

You guys are questioning how to stop it from coming out of the main output? Put this on the output flange, close it, open grey valves.

Yes BrokenWing, that would be ideal. I personally think it is a design flaw in the 34rsbs. One of the gray tanks is there only for an optional washer that we will never add. Problem solved however with the end cap valve that lets us fill both gray tanks.
