Extended warranty through dealer -- worth it?

After two years in our fun (but little) 16XRB, we're trading in for a brand new 2017 26BH.

We're signing the papers later in the week, but we're pondering whether to take them up on their 7-year extended warranty. Deductible is $50 (instead of $100), and they supposedly do on-site repairs now too (which they didn't before).

Is this actually something worth considering, or are they just putting different lipstick on the same 'ole pig?

I think it depends on who backs it and what the dealer charges. I have it for the PINNACLE and thought the cost was justified, especially with all the electronic controls and mine is all inclusive, mobile service too. So read it carefully before you sign. It's like any insurance policy, it's there if you need it.

What if you are 1000 miles from the dealer and something happens? Do they cover that and how do they cover that... you pay the bill and try and get your money back from the dealer?
