Factory tires. Mismatch.
We just got a 2024 262RLS. When we picked up the camper from the dealer I noticed the door side tires seemed to squat more than the other side. After getting home I was airing them to the correct PSI and realized we have 2 different tires on from the factory. The door side has Transegeales. The slide and spare tires are Rainiers.
The dealer said they are going to contact Jayco to see why this happened but doubts anything will be done about it.
What should we do if Jayco says it doesn’t matter.

Welcome to the forum.
I wouldn't give it a second thought until I heard back from Jayco. I'm not surprised that the dealer didn't notice or that you didn't catch it in the PDI.

Did you order it, or was it on the lot? If on the lot, it would be more the dealer than JAYCO in my opinion.

Are you thinking maybe the dealer did a swap after it arrived?

Maybe the transport people had a couple of flat tires along the way to deliver it(??)

Based on their comments, yes.

It is possible since Transeagle is available at Walmart, but the dealer should have corrected it before the sale. I know TREDIT, who is a major supplier to the RV industry carries Rainier, but they don't list Transeagle.

A true mystery. I'd be curious to hear if the dealer has an explanation or not.

It could have been the last of one and the first of another. We all know how fast they are assembling

At this point we're guessing, but I think TaftCoach's explanation is likely.
I can think of several reasons Jayco would want to know what tires the trailer had leaving the factory. I would send Jayco CS an email and ask for an explanation. ... depending on their answer, the dealer would be next.
Edit: Were you offered a "Tire and Wheel" coverage program at the time of the sale? If so, is there any useful information there?

That would also mean someone else probably has 3 Transeagle (with the spare) and 2 Rainier. The tires and rims are supplied in sets.

I would take them all off and put on some better tires. I replaced my almost new China tires with Goodyear Endurance tires. That was over 22,000 miles ago. I just purchase my second set and hope to go another 20k+ trouble free miles. Then sell the originals on e-Bay or classified ad.

Finally got word back from the dealer. They said after the unit arrived they noticed a tire had a bulge. Upon inspecting all 5 tires 2 were bad. They put the transeagles on one side. They are unable to get the Rainier St tires for some reason.

Because WAL-MART doesn't carry Ranier...
Wonder why their story changed?....hmmm

I guess I fell asleep . . . I thought Jayco was using Goodyear Endurance tires. Have they stopped using them? For a few years, it looked like they were using them on all of their brands.

I don't think it was across the board, primarily the upper end models.

Out of curiosity, are all tires the same exact size and carry the same load rating?
Not a tire expert so maybe someone could chime in here. Would it be beneficial to have one of each tire on opposite sides so as to "balance" the load wear or squat?

I would lean on buying 2 Rainiers and selling the 2 they replaced if the dealer is not receptive to making it right.
I hope your dealer will make it right because those bulging tires were new when they left the factory.

One more consumer issue that I find upsetting. 40% defective leaving the factory and after a dealer fix(?), the customer has to discover it on his own.
Edit: If 40% of tires were defective on one trailer, what percentage is bad in the whole group? ... all suppliers and builders.

I would contact an independent experienced tire dealer to find out why it does or doesn't matter. BTW, there is a good one on the Forest River Forum. His contact name is wmtire; experienced and helpful.
