Just put my deposit down on a 2016 26bhs and wondering if the price I negotiated is a fair one? $21,560.00

What is the MSRP that you get from Jaycos website? Usually around 30% off of that is a great deal. I found through my purchase on the west coast that we pay a bit more because of the shipping costs out here and I have yet to hear otherwise.

MSRP $26,200.00 without the few upgrades so it seems like my deal is not the greatest :-( however that is the 2015 msrp not sure what the 2016 is.

Jayco told me usually prices go up about 3-4% each year. That would add on $1000. Seems like you got about 20% off.

Bummer! Trust me I tried but they did not want to budge. Guess my negotiating skills are getting rusty.

If you deducted $2000 or so for freight you might of done a bit better. I don't know how most people calculate their savings, before or after freight. We get short end of stick because it comes from further away.

It's done. Go camp and enjoy it. Next time keep in mind, they NEVER want to budge from THEIR offer. It's up to the buyer to write down their phone number on a piece of scrap paper and say, give me a call when you're ready to sell. Expect a Mexican standoff. (yes, I know they already have your number but it's part of the game.)
