Fill Potable Water Tank?

Still learning about my 2014 Jay Flight Swift SLX 165RB. What's the best/easiest way to fill the fresh water tank? The manual says it can be done from the city water supply, but doesn't seem to provide much in the way of instructions on how to do it. Thanks!

Take non-toxic freshwater garden hose. Hook up to spigot. Flush the hose with fresh water for a minute or so. Put other end into gravity fill and let the water flow. Turn off immediately when water starts coming out of the vents under the camper.

Be sure to sanitize the system per the manual before using.
