Finally

Well after a few years of looking and a few months of waiting we finally brought it home! After a few hours of PDI I'm not sure if I know exactly what to do or am more confused haha! Looks like I have some learning to do. Either way I'm pumped!

It's a Jay Feather 23 BHM. Funny thing is when we looked at it the last two years it was listed as a White Hawk 23 MBH. When we finally decided to get it, we went to the RV show and it wasn't there. The dealer said that model had been discontinued. We were bummed to say the least. Turns out they just quit making it under the White Hawk name and switched it to the Jay Feather name. Whew!

We bought it without seeing it. Of course this is after looking at the same floor plan for a few years, so we kinda knew what we were doing. Now if I can learn to make some sense of the water pump - 3 million valves - propane/electrical switches etc. then I should be good to go!

Congrats on your new trailer! It looks awesome. We have the 2015 JayFlight version of that floorpan and have absolutely loved it! We made a few minor mods to suit our needs, but overall the floorpan works well for us. We've already logged 4k miles since September in it, and have another big trip coming up in June.

Congratulations. I am sure you will get acclimated to all the bells and whistles in short order. Just have fun and make sure your first trip is close to home. Best to find a problem near by than half way across the state\country.

Looks nice. I have a 2013 tundra and I'm planning on getting a jay feather 22FQSW soon. What engine do you have in the tundra?

It's the 4.7 V8. Although a new Ecoboost is in our future. This tows great, but the trailer is only 1500 pounds under the trucks max tow rating. And wouldn't mind a tad bit more payload. Enjoy the new trailer!

Enjoy! Half the fun is tinkering with the trailer and figuring out how stuff works.
