First Long Trip Coming Up!

We are about to head out for a long trip through British Columbia, Alberta and and potentially Washington that will take us several weeks to complete.

Our air conditioning thermostat problem appears to be fixed but it was a bit tricky to be sure when the temp outside today was only about 13 degrees celcius or 55 F! If not, we are staying near where we purchased the trailer, so if we have to, we'll take it there to have it looked at. (We are packing a fan just in case!)

We are travelling with our Golden Retriever and our friend Spock. Mr. Spock is quite a traveller and he's fun to take with us for goofy kodak moments. Here he is in the trailer ready to go and another one of his more memorable moments visiting Mt. Rushmore. All in good fun!

I love Mr Spock! The wife and I did a similar thing with a cow stuffy that I kidnapped from a co-worker when we went to Disneyland years ago. The cow returned to work with a slideshow of her adventures. It added extra fun thinking of photo ops during the trip.

Mr. Spock is cool. Our friends have a small pickup and 5th wheel they shoot a photo of in the foreground with scenery in the background and they challenge their friends with a "Where Are We?" question.

It sounds like a nice way to spend part of the summer. Enjoy.
