First outing in our 184bsw

We had a great 2 nights on a friend's land outside of cripple creek, co!

Couple minor things we found....

Fresh water tank dummy meter light doesn't work at all....

Fresh water tank leaked/syphoned probably 5 or 8 gallons in tow....

Refrigerator worked awesome on propane, but the lights didn't turn on.

Nothing major, keeping a list for winter warranty work after the season is over.

Also thinking of some additional seating solutions, like folding stools or something. Can't sit at the dinette or on the edge of the bed all the time...

Hope you all had a good weekend too!

Nice campsite view

Your 'minor' issue list comes with most new RV's.., we all have been there.

Adding a open/close valve (or cap) at the fresh water tank low point drain pipe will take care of the "in-tow" syphoning...., just close the valve "only" while in-tow and leave open all other times (filling, draining, in-use, etc.).

Thanks Bob! Yeah, we were generally ready for some unspecified hiccups . Didn't do any damage to the family fun meter so all good.

The water was coming out from the gravity fill inlet, which has a cap. I think I'll try adding a qturn valve near the tank on the inside

Wow. Beautiful location.

As Rustic Eagle said, very common issues across all RV brands. I've never experienced it coming out of the inlet, only the overflow. Will be interesting to see your fix.

Saw your post mentioned lights didn't work. Lots of posts on power gremlins. As your tank meters and I assume your water pump work it is time to get out the magic wand, opps I meant your multimeter. Check and replace the fuse for lights. Check to see if power to the fuse. Then you may have to pop out the converter and start checking the scotch locks, and wire nuts. Don't forget the ground wire buss. Mine was loose in several of the screws. Good luck and see you down the road!

Thanks, appreciate it! Yeah water pump works great. I was reading on a different forum there is a 3a fuse for the lights and propane starter in the fridge, I need to check the manual to see it it has further info.

The 3 amp fuse you mention, is on the control board. That'll be behind the outside access panel. A very small purple automotive blade fuse.
