First trip with new Hummingbird 17mbs

Hello everyone!
We’re taking our maiden voyage to Cooperstown, NY as newbie RVer’s. We’re so excited but already off to a late start because we noticed water leaking from under the trailer. We had prepped the black tank and started the refrigerator a couple days ago, so we were concerned that there was a problem there. We made a pit stop at the dealer on the way out to have them look at it. They loosened the corrugated covering under the trailer and checked the pipes and decided that it’s just heavy condensation from recent weather patterns lately. That’s good news and we’re on the road!
If anyone else has had a similar experience with condensation gathering between the aluminum underbelly lining and the corrugated covering, please feel free to chime in!

Looking forward to new adventures!

On my 2017, 26BH, never.

I'm not knowledgeable on refrigerators, but that'd be the only place where I might look for condensation.

And, my AC unit's on the roof, so I'd certainly rule that out.

I suppose if you had ice cold water in your freshwater tank, that could be a possibility, but you'd think they would notice the tank was covered with water.

So, I guess I'm not much help. You may have a dealer who's a real straight shooter, but I would have little or no faith in what a dealer would tell me.

Congrats on your new Bird. We have the 17RB and really enjoy it. If you haven’t found it yet there is a great forum on FB for Hummingbird owners, take a look I think you’ll like it.
