Flag pole kit

Has any one used one of these https://www.campingworld.com/search?...=flag+pole+kit ? Did it work well in high winds, specifically the brackets that attach to later?
Thanks

This is what I have:
https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Flagpol...70_&dpSrc=srch

https://www.amazon.com/Quality-Alumi...AGHYNHSN7E3E1W

In winds you can lower the pole to closer to the RV. I got mine last winter and LOVE Love love it

I made the PVC pivoting flag mount, works well even in high winds. I have two flags on it. 3 X 5 Sleeved US flag and a small Marine Corps flag. Also a solar light, so it stays up for 5 to 6 months, never had an issue.

I have the flag pole buddy 1.5 inch X 16’ fiberglass and love it. Easy install. You can lower it if needed for extreme winds. I put some pieces of foam in the upper bracket to eliminate a little movement.

I have the Flag pole buddy 2.0. Works great in the wind. Added some additional "fuzzy" portion of a velcro kit on the top support to make it snug. Super sturdy and easy

I use the 22' Flag Pole Buddy. Easy to put up the flag and take down. High winds have not been a problem. Had some initial issues and their customer service was great! Sent out some new parts (and extras) right away.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

Wags999, was your pole a part of a kit or what did you use as a model in making the pole?

3/4" pvc. 4' piece upright, 45 elbow into 1' piece into a Tee (facing on the 45 degree) out of Tee a 42" piece and out other end of tee a short piece 3 - 4 " and another 1' piece. Caps on both ends where the flag is attached. Drive a piece of rebar into the ground, place a large washer over the rebar and drop the 4' piece of PVC over the rebar. I have my one connection on the tee lose so I can take it apart but all others are glued. Either use eye bolts to connect the flag, or, my US flag is sleeved so I just slide it over the 42" length. I have USMC flag with eyebolts on the other 1' piece. I'll try to post a picture if I can find it lol
