Flat Tire - ok now?

This past winter went to check on the TT while it was in storage and found one of the tires completely flat. I inflated it and its held the pressure just fine for months now. I have no idea why it was flat - one theory is that someone was pranking us. We've not gone anywhere so far this season but plan to soon but I'm concerned the tire is no longer trustworthy. What would you do?

This is a dual axle X23B and is just a couple years old.

I would make sure my spare was tip top, have my jack and lug wrench at the ready and GO!

How long had it been since you checked the pressure in the tire?Tires natural loose pressure over time,even more when not being used.Some will loose air more than others.

If it's holding air there is probably nothing to worry about but just to be safe I would swap it out with the spare and take it to a tire shop and have it checked for leaks in a tank.

Also if you don't do it,one good practice is to check tire pressure prior to every trip and before heading home.

It had only been a couple months since the last time I had checked on it when I discovered the flat tire - and it was completely flat. It was also a period of being extra cold here in the Northeast. My perception is that it was too fast to be a slow leak. Plus if it was a slow leak I would have expected to see the pressure drop by now but its been stable. Its just weird.

Check and make sure the valve core is tight. Sometimes they aren't completely snug.
