Floor screw pop-up?

I recently bought a used 2017 Jayco White Hawk 28DSBH. Loving it so far, but a new problem: a small bump has appeared under the vinyl floor. It is as if a floor mounting screw is backing out and pushing up the vinyl flooring. It has raised the floor about three eighths of an inch. If I leave it alone, stepping on the flooring around it would eventually tear a quarter inch diameter hole in the vinyl. How should I fix this? Has anyone seen this before? I could cut the vinyl and peel it back to see what's going on. Or I could approach it from under the trailer - but it has the insulated "Glacier Package" and would require removal of all of that action. Neither an attractive option. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!

There are several members that have addressed that issue, and I'm sure you'll get a few detailed posts soon. It's repairable from the inside.

This has happened to us after a long road trip. Our screw actually broke through the flooring. I used Loctite and drove it down as tight as i could. We have yet to repair the flooring as I am waiting to see if stays seated. Plans are to use a clear epoxy on the small hole.

Right now we have a rubber backed throw rug in that area.

Hope this help.

Cut an "X" over the screw. pull out, add lock tight. screw back in. Take some adhesive, liquid nails, or similar, and glue the floor back, problem solved.

I followed the lines (making it look like the wood is separate) cut 3 sides around the screw following the wood lines, removed the screw and put Loctite on and put it back in. Used seam sealer to place the floor back down. You can't even see where I cut.

I've got the same issue, 2016 White Hawk. I'm going to fix it this weekend. My friend owns a dealership - he said he prefers a round cut around the bolt head so there is no place for a tear to start that could migrate across the floor.

It's good to hear others with success stories on this issue.
