Floor Vent Cover?

I apologize if this question has been answered, but in a cursory search, I couldn't find an answer, so here it goes;

Does anyone have a cover over their floor heating vents? If so, what did you use? I thought when we bought our TT that the floor vents were metal and I'd cover them with the magnetic covers you'd use on a house A/C vent. Not so, since the vent opening is plastic.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Why do you cover the vents? How about a throw rugs like the small bath mat type?

Go to your dealer and get one of the floor vents that have the adjustable louvers and just turn it off.

Edd505, we wanted to cover the vents/registers because we don't want them to be a catch-all for everything that falls on the floor, etc. One of the vents in is right by the kitchen sink, so the last thing we want is food or especially water landing in the vent. A rug would be a good idea for that location, but the other floor vents are not necessarily in a good rug location.

Roy, thanks for the idea. Don't know why I hadn't asked the dealer. I checked Camping World website and they have a few options, and to my surprise, they aren't that expensive! Thanks again!

I use vent filters like these and cut them to size. It works out great to catch crumbs. Like you we have a vent by the kitchen sink.

Now I'm curious and gotta go look in my vents!

Thanks Maromeo! Yet another great idea. Heck with adjustable registers AND vent filters, we should be able to keep the vents pretty clean!
