FM radio static

Does anyone know why that when I am listening to the radio and plug my phone into he USB charge jacks I get a lot of static interference on the radio. The radio head is an iRV6500. Only does it on the radio doesn't do it while streaming Bluetooth.

Many power adapters contain circuitry to alter the voltage that ceeates interference. They have little or no sheilding. Try a different brand or maybe you can apply a ferrite bead or two to eliminate it. Common issue.

Try experimenting with turning lights off to see if you hear any difference. Some LEDS and other bulbs can cause spurious emissions.
