Fresh water leak 2024 265rlsw gl

Brand new 24 footer that has an intermittent fresh water leak behind the outside wall on city water inlet. Called Jayco tech and was told all outside fitting are accessible from inside. Anybody have any clue where these access points are. Underside of trailer is totally enclosed with a fiber membrane. This is riveted to the under carriage.
Not overly impressed with this new Jayco. First trip out vanity in bathroom started coming off the wall. Not fastened to wall studs just into wall board. Tankless hot water system wouldn’t fire up. E3 code on panel. Nothing in owners manual about fault codes or the small reset button on left back of hot water unit. Very poor finishing work. Cupboard handles crooked. Trim in bedroom mismatched. Cupboards not closing all the way. Staying in desert hot springs and the nearest Jayco dealer is 60 miles away in the rv capitol of Southern California.

Welcome to the forums and the frustrations of a new unit.

Did the water heater work during the PDI? Did you receive an owners manual for the water heater? It's not likely to be in the manual for the Jayco built part. I really wish manufacturers would just send a hyper doc with links to the appliance manufacturer's owner's manuals.

Generic thoughts, I don't have your unit.

Where is the water leaking into? Do you have a pressure regulator on the line from city water? The connection between the city fitting and your internal system is likely loose. What's on the inside of that wall?

Installation manual for the hot water heater has no fault codes. Has a reference to the eco button on the side of the hot water heater. Not sure if the rv sales started the heater. Up as it was 15 f outside and the heater was full of antifreeze. The water is coming from inside the outer wall in the same area as the city water inlet. Yes I have a pressure regulator in line.

Can you add a picture of where the water connects? Since there are so many variations that may help.

Usually the dealer will do a full predelivery inspection with the buyer.

There should be two manuals, one for the installer (which you found) and one for the consumer.

What you are connecting to on the outside has (in my limited experience less than four) a simple hose connection on the inside. What is on the inside of that wall? If that isn't accessible do you see any screws holding the connection in place?

As stated before unable to do the complete presale inspection because of below freezing temp. The lines were still full of antifreeze. No error codes in manufactures manual or Jaycos owners manual.
