Fresh water pump?

Just on our first trip with 26bh and wondering if the fresh water pump is noisy when water is turned on ? When I run the water I can here the pump pretty good not bad though just wondering if normal.

They are inherently noisy but can be quieted somewhat. Do some searching on this and other forums for "quieting rv water pumps" and you may get some ideas to try.
Mainly they involve making sure the hoses are not touching the rigs walls and floor by placing foam pipe insulation on them and methods of isolating the pump from the place it is mounted on the camper.

Sometime you can make a huge difference in the noise by just moving some things around near the pump.

I should have thought about this: My oem pump was replaced with an aftermarket pump after the first time we used it. It could be of a higher quality. I don't remember what the original sounded like as we only used it once.
