Freshwater tank usage

Hey i am setup on some land with power and sewer only, no water anywhere.

I am hauling water in on a tank and pumping into rv tank.

Does the rv pump need any servicing?
Any screens or sediment traps to clear ever?

Thanks!

Not normally, except for winterizing if it gets much below freezing where the pump is mounted.

My trailer has a small bowl with a metal mesh screen. I just take it out a clean it once or twice a year.

The pump is maintenance free. There is a filter screen right before the pump inlet. I remove the screen and clean it once a year.

Is it common for the pump to be quieter when tank is full and louder as it nears empty?

follow up question,

got a well installed and functional. had water tested nothing real bad. i want to add a little bleach to keep it fresh. will adding it at the start of filling tank be best? is there any type of agitators to mix it better or? also how much bleach and at what % would you suggest per 40 gallon refill?

You could just dump the bleach in and then fill the tank but it would be better to mix the bleach with a gallon of water and dump that solution into the tank first, then fill it the rest of the way. Our Eagle carries 90 gallons including the water heater and I use 1 cup of bleach. The water doesn't smell bleachy but has a nice clean scent to it at this ratio. We don't drink the water but do bathe and wash dishes with it. I do this every trip cause I drain everything before our next outing.

When I need to add bleach to the water, I just pour the amount needed down the water hose. Then put it in the gravity fill and cut on the water. I figure this will mix the solution very well.

I was thinking of using a turkey baster to add it like you mention first and then top with water which should mix decent. I hate to spill bleach.
