fridge electricity vs. propane

We have a Norcold fridge in a 2016 trailer. It seems that its performance is markedly poorer when using electricity instead of propane. Has anyone else experienced this? I've seen threads where a fridge does not even work on electricity but can't recall performance comparison.

Flame might be hotter from propane, but on electricity mine works great.

I don't even carry Propane ( 5 years now ) and have never had a problem and my average travel day is 6-7 hours. The size of my box is 6 cu. ft. I spend approx. 3-4 months a year in Southern California .

It will perform better on propane especially when it is hot outside.

That is good to know. We usually cool the fridge overnight on shore power before we leave, and then switch to propane. We do have to be careful with the propane setting so that we don't freeze things in the refrigerator.
