Front Gray Tank

I have a 2015 Jayco Jay Flight 34RSBS with 2 gray water tanks. The one at the front of the rig never has anything in it, while the one closer to the black tank fills up and backs into the shower and bathroom sink. Any ideas on what the front tank is for and what I am doing wrong to utilize it?
Thanks!!

I installed the ValterraTwist-On RV Waste Valve so I was able to merge the 2 tanks - quick, cheap and easy install

So I think what you are telling me is that because I keep the valve on the front most gray tank closed, that keeps water from the other gray tank from flowing into it. If I will open both valves using the equipment you recommended then they will share gray tank Responsibilities? Is that correct? It doesn't appear that one tank is for the shower and bathroom and the other is for the kitchen. It appears cents the front most tank is always dry, that one gray tank is taking care of both kitchen and bathroom responsibilities. Is that correct? Thank you for your time.

If you have the washer/dryer option, then 1 tank is possibly designated for the washer. In that case the method mentioned previously would seem to be a workable option.

I do have a washer/dryer option, but no washer. That might be the answer. Everyone has said one tank is for bathroom gray and the other for kitchen gray, but since the tank in question is never wet, maybe you've hit on it. Thanks for your time!

We also have the 34 rsbs - and the front tank is for a washer option. We also use the valterra valve which at least allows access to the front gray tank

Thank you! So, I can use the Valterra valve and open both gray valves and when the gray tank closest to the black tank fills up, the overflow will flow back through the pipe to the front-most gray tank. Is that the way it works?
Thanks again for your time!

Wow, this is great! Just after 8 days of dry camping I was wondering whether I can combine the front and back grey tanks. I do not use the front grey tank (kitchen) at all. Anybody installed this on Whitehawk?

Thanks!
