Exclamation Furnace Blower Access

Tried searching and it didn't look good. Have a 2013 32 BHDS. Fired up the heater last night and the heater does kick on but the blower fan is making a God awful racket. Something has surely built a nest and had an entire family in my unit.

I can't seem to access the blower fan. Spent 20-30 minutes searching inside and out for some access and just can't seem to locate one.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can access my furnace blower?

I had the same problem on my pop up. I had to remove the entire furnace turned out the blower motor Bearings were shot. I replaced the motor works great. There was also a hose that went from the blower to the ignition chamber that was dry rotted. I replaced that with a automotive hose of the appropriate size. Take pictures of the wiring before disconnecting everything.

Its under the wardrobe, in between the slides on the driver side. Does the panel under the wardrobe cabinet not come off? Hard to find detailed photos of the 2013 model, but later models have a couple of screws on that panel.

It is behind the removable return air vent on the inside. It is directly behind the exhaust vents on the outside. You must remove the whole unit form the inside. Shut off the gas line and disconnect. You can cap off the gas line in case you don't get the furnace fixed. Disconnect the 12 volt wiring. The unit is screwed to the floor. You must remove the front access panel to get to the screws. This is how the three I have worked on in the passed were done.

I did remove the wooden panel up front. I can see, feel and grab the entire heating unit. I can only access one lonely screw that attaches it to the floor. I don't see any other way to access any other mounting screws.

I'm assuming of course that the entire heating unit is attached by more than one small screw
