Furnace BTU on 2008 Jay Flight 26bh

I dug out all my papers on my TT and found information for 4 possible BTU's ranging from 16000 to 30000 depending on the model. I cannot find a model number any where. The only thing visible is the exhaust port. Does anyone know what the btu is for the furnace on the 2008 Jay Flight 26 BH and/or the amperage. I have a solar panel installed and it produces 7 amps. Two versions of the possible models use 4.6 amps and the two others use 7.3 or 7.6 amps ( I cannot remember for sure ). You help is appreciated.

Pull the vented cover off and look for the info tag, it should tell you which one.

Are talking about the exhaust vent on the outside or some vent under the couch? There is a wooden box under the seat with one side having a wire mesh, but it is difficulty to see anything as there is a wooden support for the couch in the way. Does the box come off some how?

My guess is it is between the 16 and 25k so it would be 4.4 to 5.5 amps. I doubt it has the higher models that pull 8 amps.

One thing that you might find handy is a dc clamp meter. It will give you real world measurements since specs in manuals are not always right. I have found it invaluable for specing out my power projects.

My Jayco has a tag on the furnace behind the outside vent grille.
