Furnace cycling issue (x213)
I just had my 2012 x213 in to be service and winterized. It had developed a few problems this year: the rear slide sounded like a heard of banshees and the furnace was constantly cycling on and off.
They fixed the slide (said the bolts were loose and was slightly of the tracks). For the furnace they said there was no problem and that it was from a low battery. The problem was that the furnace would come on, with the blower, then you would hear the propane firing for a few minutes, shutting off, then firing again, while the entire time the blower would run. The atco furnace manual says see the dealer if this happens, so I did.
I called BS on their 'findings'. Primarily because it was plugged in during the last time this happened (so it should be bypassing the battery, plus the blower was on the entire time). They then tried to blame it on the propane gauge being shut off. Derp derp. I un-politely reminded them that I did not materialize the trailer into their shop, but towed it in and in doing so shut off the propane tanks.
They insisted it was the battery. I left.
Any ideas?

Sounds like the burner was short cycling because it was tripping an over-temperature limit on the heat exchanger. When the blower cooled it off the burner would fire up again. Is the return air opening free and clear and are all your registers wide open?

It is NOT the battery. I would say you need to find a dealer that knows what he is doing. This one obviously does not.

All the vents were cleared from any air blockage.
I agree this is not a battery issue....and this dealer has no idea what they are doing.

I would pull the whole furnace assembly out and open it up myself. There is probably debris blocking the firing chamber or the oriface is partially plugged. I helped a buddy of mine this summer pull his furnace out and we found a piece of rust in the oriface keeping it from firing.
Of course being a new unit, I would find a better dealer to do business with. They should be fixing this under warranty for sure.

Check for a flame sensor. Electronic ignition has a safety which gets a white coating on it and does not make a strong enough signal back to the gas valve. The flame will come on for 2-5 seconds then off. Then cycle again. I imagine there is no ignition board on these small furnaces.

Hmmmm...I too had an issue and it affected the fridge as well..I switched the propane switch valve to he other ank and it worked.

Call Jayco and ask them to recommend a different dealer in your area... That will 1) get your furnace fixed and 2) get Jayco looking at that dealer as he is not doing them any favors...

this problem defitnetly sounds like a flame sensor Had a old style hot water tank that would have that kind of problem

Flame sensor
The sensor can be pulled and cleaned with an Emory cloth or a fine nail board the Mrs. Might have. Because no pilot light this is a safety.

Had this problem last year. Ignitor, even though you hear it clicking can be bad. It sends a signal to the board telling the board a flame is present and to allow the gas valve to stay open. Sail switch in air stream which must be free and open and close tells board the blower is working also. Ignitor replacement is a real pain to get at. You need the furnace out and on a bench where you can split it in half
