Furnace issue cycling the burner. Hope this helps someone
So right after we bought our 2016 Jay flight 27BHS we used the furnace. Now keep in mind I’ve been doing HVAC service as a Journeyman for 16 years. After the furnace started normally and the burners would only stay on for about 8 minutes. The blower would continue to run for 3 minutes and then the burners would re-light. This isn’t normal. It should be just like your house the blower and burners stay lit until the temp reaches set point and then turn off.
We took it in under warranty and you guessed it they couldn’t duplicate the problem. BOLOGNA! It continued to do it. I told the service department it was either
1) Propane pressure too high (overfired)
2) Bad high limit switch
3) Not enough air flow going through the furnaces heat exchanger causing it to get too hot and tripping the switch.
Took it back in and they said bad switch. Which was supposedly ordered. 3 weeks later they said the supplier never shipped it. Now they finally got the new switch and installed it. Now the burners are shutting off after 9 minutes! This is called short cycling. So they had to add another duct run from the furnace to the coach to give it more air flow through the furnace which has stopped all of the problems. I haven’t picked it up yet so I can’t confirm yet.
So for all of you who have the thermal package which says you have a sealed and “heated” underbelly might find this interesting. My definition of heated would be warm air blown into the underbelly to keep all tanks warmish to they don’t freeze. The dealer says that’s not the case. Jayco runs the warm air under the floor in an aluminum duct chase down the middle of the trailer. The warm aluminum is what heats the underbelly!!!! No warm air is blown in there just warm aluminum!!!! They said that is Jayco specs.
Sorry for the long post! Hope this helps people figure out some issues. The problem here is if you allow the furnace to cycle on the switch it wears out until the switch won’t reset and will leave you cold.

Our PINNACLE had 2" holes in the bottom of the aluminum duct work.
I think they meant in the Jay Flight. I asked them to stick a snake camera in the duct work to make sure it was open to the underbelly. They said nope, not Jayco specs
