G2 speakers

I have a Jayco Jayflight 23FB G2, it has 4 speakers for the sound system. Two under the cabinet by the table, one by the entrance door and one by the TV. I can only get 2 of the speakers to work, 1 under the cabinet and 1 by the front door. I have tried playing different things from the DVD/audio and only 2 speakers work. Are all 4 suppose to work at the same time (which I think they should) or are the 2 that I can't get to work for something else. I will probably have to unhook the wires from the back of the DVD unit and trace them down but thought I might get an answer here Thanks in advance.
In this picture you can see 3 of the speakers, 2 under the cabinet and 1 to the right of the TV

Joe

All four speakers should work at the same time if you pushed the buttons for both sets to be on. Our G2 has a ''''Jensen" radio/dvd player that has the speaker selection buttons on it. If you have tried to work all the buttons for the multiple sets of speakers you may need to remove your radio/dvd player to see if there are some wires that have come lose or were never connected at the factory.

Thank you, I think I have pushed every button on the thing. I'm going out for 5 days to the beach tomorrow so I guess I'll have time to check out the wires. I peeked at the back of the unit and there are a bunch of wires there. I'll let you know what I find out, at least now I know they are all suppose to work.

Speakers

Make sure you check the balance and fade on the radio.

We have speakers all over (8) 4 in the living area, 2 in the bedroom, and 2 outside, and all will work at the same time or several combinations.

Did they come that way from the factory? The 2011 I've poked around in had the four in the kitchen/living room area and two outside. I do not recall seeing any in the bedroom (and didn't see any in the pictures I took).

I have the very same trailer and both sets of speakers should work as well as the ones outside. On the Jensen there is a selection for A, B, and C which select the pairs of speakers. You should be able to play only the pair adjacent to the cabinets, the pair over the J Steel sofa or the pair outside or any combination of pairs. If when you select, you get one speaker from differing pairs I would agree that your problem is that they are hooked up wrong. I love the ability to select the pairs when I am watching TV from the sofa and the A/C noise makes it hard to hear. Good luck.

Got them working. On the main menu in the unit is where I found the option for 4 or 6 speakers, Sounds a lot better now. Next time I take it out I'll try and route the TV through the audio system so I can use all the speakers instead of the one on the TV.

Jayco 23FB TV speakers

What is the process to follow to use the stereo speakers through the TV?

Most newer tv's now have "sound out" to external speaker systems. You should be able to use RCA cables (red for one side and white for the other). These two cables should connect to the back of your sound system (usually AUX 1 or AUX 2). Then you can listen to tv through the stereo system.

Thanks MichelD. I'll give it a try. I also connect my Ipod to the AUX which is in the front of my stereo.
