Garbage can and food storage in a Jay Flight 26bh

Sorry for all the silly questions. I am wondering where everyone keeps the garbage can in the jayco 26bh. I was loading the trailer last night and ended up sticking it under the sink next to the drawers. I feel like I am wasting space by doing this, but it is at least out of the way. It seems like there isn't another good spot for it.

Also in our 19h we didn't have a lot of upper cabinets and what we put in there was in enclosed bins and we stored our food in the lower cabinets. I put our food in the upper cabinets above the sofa in the new trailer last night and I am worried about something flying out during travel and ruining the furniture, like say a jar of salsa. I wouldn't normally worry but a friend with a similar trailer told us how a can of soup flew out of an upper cabinet and smashed the television. Thanks again for your help.

We lost some dishes because they slid, hit the door and popped it open. We put a twist cord/wire around the doors housing heavier stuff as a precaution.

We keep a small trash can exactly where you describe. But really we have a couple of collapsable cans the store in pass though and are set up outside when camping. These are the cans we use for everything but cooking prep.

In our 26BH food is kept in the overhead above the table and dishes, classes, cutting boards, serving dishes etc are in the overheads on kitchen side.

We have had some shifting while traveling, but nothing has broken or fell out while underway to date.

We bought a "slim" full size (13 gallon?) trash can and put it between the kitchen counter and the sofa...nobody sits in that cramped spot anyway. All of our food goes above the dinette or above the sink.

A 8 gallon can fits perfectly between the soda and sink.

In our 26BH we have a small plastic garbage can under the sink like you described. All of our dishes are stored in the cabinet directly above the sink. Larger dishes above the dinette table. Food stuff is stored in all the other cabinets on the sink side of the trailer. I installed/built shelves to maximize all the space in the cabinets. It is amazing how more useable space we have now. We have not had a single cabinet fly open yet and I just towed my TT 2200 miles last month up to NH. Next month is the return trip back home. Happy Camping.
