Generator

I really didn't need a generator because 99% of our camping is with full hookups.

I seldom go the cheaper route on the things I buy, but considering my situation, I decided to take a chance on this deal from Sam's Club.

Free shipping so with tax came out to about $430.00.

It will be good enough for running the microwave, or charging the battery or runnning the LED tv if the occasion arises.

No need to get into the Honda, Yamaha, superiority, as that's a given.

But for 40% of there cost and my needs, I think it will suffice.

3 year warranty and all the features I need.

As long as you’re not driving your neighbors crazy with noise, it’s a great find!

Not sure how that compares to the Honda or Yamaha but I don't think it will sound like a contractors7KW model.

Same reason I went with generac gp2200i. Price was right and usage minimal. It runs the ac of we need it to.

Don't know how to explain it but maybe other members will step in. There is a big difference between 51 db and 47 dbs.

Both well used. Now up to 170 nights camping and 40,000 miles on the TT since purchase.

Well looking at this chart it looks like it may be 1/8 times louder than the Honda if I'm reading it correctly.

Not a lot of difference.

My main point is it's a pretty good deal for the features and what I need.

And that is exactly why we have the option to buy the unit that fits our needs the best. It's not a one size fits all world out there.

Enjoy your new generator and please check back with regular updates on its performance and usage. It will help others looking at a generator choice in the future.
