Generator & GFI issues

I have a 2017 JayFlight SLX and a Champion 4000 starting watt 3500 running watt generator. I am having a problem when dry camping and using the generator. It pops the GFI and kills all the GFI protected outlets. We had the same problem last year but thought we figured it out by switching the fridge to gas. Well this go with nothing on the GFI electric system it pops. I even undid the downstream from the GFI to see if we had a bad GFI. It popped so bad GFI right. Nope at home plugged into shore power from my house and everything is working fine. Thought maybe something wiggled and "fixed" itself so tried the genny again and the GFI popped.

Before I go replacing a genny I thought I would ask if anyone use has had problems like this.

Google 'generator neutral bonding plug'. That might be your issue.
I made my own for our Champion 3100 watt generator.

I had the exact issue I even took the generator to a shop and they verified it was performing normarally I took my tt to the dealer and they found it was a faulty GFI plug.
