here is something i just learned ,,bought a Champion gen..rv ready ,but when connecting 30 amp the gfci would trip immediately in my RV,,,,,,researched and found out you can bypass open ground on surge protector by bonding a G-N PLUG......jump ground and nuetral ,,then plug it in to 110 receptacle on GENERATOR ,,put plug cover back on,,, ,,,IDEA FROM MIKE SOKOL

I have used the bonding plug on my 2KW Generator a couple of times. It also works for me on my 1500WATT PSW Power Inverter as well when I want to plug my trailer shore power into it using a RV30A to 15A long adapter cable...

Been around along time. I have posted your photo from google images many times...

Here is another photo I have posted several times showing the Bonding Plug plugged into the Honda 2KW generator receptacle.

I have a couple of Bonding Plugs made up in my RV Tool Box...

See the silver screw to the lower left of the circuit breaker? Attach an 8ga wire to it and then nail the wire to the ground..

Just curious. I have the 30 amp + 15 amp adapter for my 50 amp service. It trips the 15 amp if it's gfi. I wonder if plugging one of these into the other outlet would keep it from tripping?
