Not sure of your total power needs however I purchased an 3200/2900 inverter unit from Etrailer that powers our 13,500 AC unit with ease. Very quiet and relatively light.(85 lbs). After break in I switched to full synthetic oil and run only non-ethanol fuel.(if available)

The following Combination of;

dual 30lb propane tanks,
(I did run run gas also, as many times it was easier to find.)
harbor freight scooter carier w ramp,
WD4500DF w included wheel kit-telescoping handle /remote start,
twin Micro-Air soft starts
50<>30amp adapter
(Miscellaneous propane adapters for the generator)

Allowed me to “boondock” for 12 days total - at Lakeland FL during the Sun N Fun airshow (7 days) and FT Meyers Beach (3-residential neighborhood 24 hours) and Walmart (2).

I never lifted the generator, a couple of times I put the ramp down extended the telescoping handle and rolled it down the ramp and under the camper and then back again when traveling or ran it from the carrier at walmart (there is a bit more vibration felt in the camper this way).

This setup ran both 15K A/C’s, the residential frig, converter/charger, and TV for about 200 hours total, extremely quietly, event free and very economically.

On gas with everything cycling I would typically get 15-18 hours for 3.4 gallons of gas.

Are you using a 50A to 15A cable to plug into the generator to run the AC? Or are you using the 2000 companion generator that has the 30A plug on it?
