The solution to that problem is an extended run fuel tank that is readily available.

I use a 6 gallon tank that feeds both of my EU2000i's. Works great.

I modified a gas cap, and just move it between the full gas cans.

I borrowed a friends Honda 3K a couple times. Quiet, plenty of power, and heavy. Since I don't need the power all the time, the 2x 2K is a good compromise.

I bought a Champion 3100 Inverter Generator it is a good generator for what I need a few times a year. It will run a 15K A/C and you have to pay attention to what you run.

It spends all most the entire year under my bench in the shop. Mine runs 10 maybe 15 days a year, I just couldn't justify 3-4K for generators. If we boondocked all the time I may have gotten the Honda's but knowing me I would have still bought the Champion.

I also have the Champion 3100 Inverter Generator & think it is a great unit. I sold a Yamaha 3000 to buy this unit because it was to heavy to lift in & out of the truck.
The Champion has more power than the Yamaha & is almost as quiet as the Yamaha & a hell of a lot lighter & easier to move around. Very pleased.....

I am glad that you like yours, I remember you asking about mine. For the money, Champion 3100 Invertor Genny is hard to beat
